Gai Tod
Gai Tod is a popular Thai street food dish that features crispy fried chicken. The chicken is marinated in a combination of garlic, soy sauce, and spices, and then deep-fried to achieve a golden and crunchy exterior.
Instructions
Mix chicken with soy sauce, garlic, cornstarch, salt, and white pepper.
Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok or a deep frying pan over high heat to 350°F (175°C).
Add the chicken to the hot oil in batches and fry for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain the chicken on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with a dipping sauce made with soy sauce, water, and chopped garlic.
