Instructions

1

Rinse the shark meat with cold water and pat it dry. Cut the shark meat into bite-sized pieces.

2

Meanwhile, cook the rice according to the package instructions.

3

Peel the plantains and slice them into thin, diagonal pieces.

4

Heat some oil in a separate pan and fry the plantains until they are golden brown and crispy.

5

In a bowl, combine diced avocado, chopped cilantro, salt, and lime juice to make the avocado salad.

6

Serve the Cazón en Ajo hot with steamed rice, fried plantains, and a side of avocado salad. Enjoy!

7

In a mixing bowl, combine the lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Marinate the shark meat in this mixture for about 30 minutes.

8

Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for a few minutes until fragrant.

9

Add the marinated shark meat to the pan and cook until it turns golden brown on all sides.

10

Remove the cooked shark meat from the pan and set it aside.

11

In the same pan, add the diced onion and cook until it becomes translucent.

12

Add the tomato and continue cooking until it softens.

13

Place the cooked shark meat back into the pan and mix it with the onion and tomato mixture.

14

Cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together.
